River Island SS12 Press Day.

RIVER ISLAND S/S12 Press Day

On Tuesday, Lily and I attended the River Island press day. I always say this, but I’m much more of a Autumn/Winter kinda girl, summer clothes never do much for me.
As you can see, the RI offerings for next season are bright, a kind of Miami Vice vibe. I see studs and collars are still in, which I’m pleased about.

You wouldn’t see me in all of this, but I think a select few of the brighter things I would wear with a dark, block colour.

Overall, some good things to be had, especially if you’re brave!

This looks like such a pretty press day Liking a lot of the items but I agree some are pretty crazy, not for me.
Those gold tacky heart earrings, I used to have a pair of those about 5 years ago haha. Are they really making a comeback?! x

Looks like there will be some nice things, definitely more keen on the studded side of things though and glad to see their not putting big silver plates with ‘river island’ on the bags?! definitely more of winter girll too though, too early to think about parting with my coat

Ahh everything is so sickly-pastely coloured! Completely different to everything been wine coloured which I abbbsolutely love! Some ermm, retro? earrings they’ve got going on there! haha

A lot of that stuff does look very bright and “out there”. Not sure if it’s very me. I already noticed some of Lily’s pictures and said that I love the decor of that place. Bright clothes may not be my thing but bright walls are. x

Oh my goodness, I want it all. River Island is always so much better in Spring/Summer, it’s been so disappointing recently I’ve found. Very colourful and quite a few pieces you’d have to be very brave to wear I think but it all looks so pretty!
