This Week’s Most Loved… #17.

There’s been quite a stir in my  usual beauty routines lately – I’ve ditched foundations for tinted moisturisers, shimmery shadows for matte finishes and cleansing gels for oils! I’ve even strayed away from my usual Clinique mascara… there must be something wrong. Here are my picks from the week, including a very lovely Chanel nail polish…

When I first tried this much-loved Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil *a while ago, I have to say I wasn’t particularly a fan, the feeling of thick oils on my skin doesn’t always sit well with me. I reached for this whilst clearing out my bathroom products recently and decided to give it another chance – since then it’s worked it’s way in to my routine. It’s really light and makes taking makeup off such an easy task. I massage in a pump to my face, add a bit of warm water, massage some more before using more water and a face cloth to remove. Pretty simple and skin feels supple and purified.
Another product I’ve really fallen for is this Tocca Graciella perfume, I have this sample I got from somewhere and slipped it in to my handbag as it’s a pretty good size. I love floral scents and this is quite a sophisticated fragrance inspired by the lovely Grace Kelly. A full sized bottle has gone straight on my wishlist…

Moving on to makeup, I’ve been applying this Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Tinted Balm almost daily, the coverage is perfect and the finish is natural but long-lasting. A great product for those who like to feel like they’re wearing nothing but still have flawless skin and that added reliability from a long wearing base. As for eyes, the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette * is all I’ve been wearing this week. It’s a little plain but the shades are easy to wear together or alone, I tend to mix a few and create something different every time.
Now, just as we thought I’d never get over my Holy Grail mascara, I find this Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara *, a new launch from the brand that has got me swooming. It creates volume and curl and separates my lashes for maximum definition. I am sold! it

Lastly, how could I not mention the shade that has been gracing my nails lately, I’ll be posting about Chanel’s Spring collection in due course but here’s a little teaser in the form of this Chanel Emprise nail polish *. A muted pastel coral that is opaque from one coat and perfect from two, it lasted very well on my nails and I couldn’t stop looking at them all week! What do you think of this heavenly shade?

This weeks roundup has been a real eye-opener, who knew I had it in me to try so many new products in a week? Which one is your favourite?
