A Skincare Overhaul.

My evening skincare routine has had a little makeover as of late, I’ve been trialling some new products and oh boy, what a difference they’ve made! A lot of people commented on my skin in my latest video (naked skin, hoorah!) and I knew it was down to this trio of great products!
First up, Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (£36) – I bought this on a whim a month or two ago and I have been using it ever since. It’s a really lightweight, concentrated elixir that contains a shedload of beautiful and beneficial ingredients to regenerate your skin overnight. It’s very much like a light oil and I use a few drops each night on my skin to give myself a little massage and then allow it to absorb in. I’ve tried a fair few oils in my time but this one has to be the lightest, it’s absorbs in so quickly and instantly adds such a healthy glow to my skin.
I mix in a few drops of another new favourite, the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer (£33) *, a morning and night serum. I don’t often use Clinique in my skincare routine but this has really bowled me over. It uses new technologies to gently exfoliate the skin, encouraging cell renewal while you sleep so you wake up with bright and healthy looking skin. So far it’s lived up to the label and I have to say, my skin is looking better than ever in terms of how clear it is. I find that mixing these two products together creates a light-weight duo that leaves my skin brighter and more nourished.
The final product is the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Overnight Moisturiser (£34) *, it goes hand in hand with the aforementioned serum as it also helps to smooth over skin whilst you snooze. It again provides gentle exfoliation to rid the skin of any rough or flaky patches and keeps the skin well moisturised at the same time. I’m pretty picky when it comes to moisturisers but I’ve really warmed to this, it’s lightweight and doesn’t leave your skin feeling tacky and also helps to give a big dose of nourishment! A definitely winner for those who want clear, bright skin (surely that’s everyone?).
So my nightly routine has been dwindled down to these three wonderful products and my skin is looking great, they go hand in hand for a brighter complexion. What are your thoughts?
