This Week’s Most Loved… #18.
With the various latest collections and new launches, I’ve had a fair amount of products to get through and try out so this post includes a few that have taken my fancy as of late.
One that doesn’t fall in to my new products category is this Evo Mister Fantastic Texture Spray (£13.55), something I use daily for a bit of grit and texture to my hair, although I’ve never featured it on here. My hair is rather soft and has been likened to that of a newborn – not ideal when you’re aiming for that sultry Blake Lively look. I always spray a little bit of this Texture Spray in my hair pre-blowdry for a beautiful, unruly yet styled look.
Moving on to a wonder product I’ve been relentlessly babbling on about lately, meet the By Terry Hyaluronic Hyrda Powder (£41) – this has to be my number one favourite product at the moment, by far. If you’ve seen my Evening Makeup Routine tutorial video, you will have seen how much of a difference this makes. The powder, which can be used as a primer, alone of on top of foundation, retains moisture in the skin and smoothes over skin for a really flawless finish. My pores are seriously minimised and it gives my skin such a smoothed over look – definitely a winner in my eyes.
Another product I’ve been really impressed by (and it sits at the opposite end of the price spectrum) is this Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless mascara (£7.99) *, a new launch from the brand that has really added some curl and length to my lashes. I definite must have, I always think that mascara is something you can usually scrimp on as the brands found in Boots are very competitive with mascaras. If you swing by Boots, look out for this (it’s available from 20th Feb)
The only skincare item in my weekly favourites has to be this Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewal Serum (£33) *, it works overnight to exfoliate skin gently, promoting cell renewal and leaving skin looking bright, smooth and radiant. There’s a few products like this on the market at the moment but I do like how this makes my skin feel the morning after, so far it’s living up to it’s words but it may be one of the products that impresses me for a few weeks and then… nothing. I’ll hold out for a review.
And with that, my latest concealer of choice has to be this Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Concealer (£16) *, it’s much like my beloved Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, but from one of my favourite brands so naturally, I had to give it a whirl. It’s impressed me so far, covering blemishes with a fuss and also helping to concealer those undereye dark circles. It’s long lasting too and one thing I look for in a concealer is reliability!
