Bedside Beauty.

I don’t keep a lot of items on my bedside table, most of my beauty routine (makeup removal, moisturising etc) is done in the bathroom but I do keep a few things on the side to help to remember to do them (lips, eyes, hands – I’m talking about you). This is a little rundown of the products that have nestled nicely amongst the books, chargers and magazines.
This wonderful sample of NUDE ProGenius Treatment Oil has been seeing me through winter and I couldn’t be more grateful, it’s a beautiful oil that gives skin all the nourishment it needs. I use this most nights and even mix it in with my foundation during the day too, it gives my skin this beautiful glow that I can’t even find the words to describe. I’ve actually been through quite a few of these sample bottles (it even has a little pump) which is the advantages of living in Space NK. I’m slightly put off the full size version as it’s rather expensive, even though I know I’ll use it. I umm and ahh over buying this every payday, but some how my need to eat always comes first. Dammit.
Another oil I keep on my bedside is this Garnier Ultimate Oil, a lil suhin’ I found in Boots recently and I have to say, it definitely rivals the premium versions I use. My favourite thing about this is the pump, it disperses a fine mist over a large area so you don’t even need to really rub it in – perfect for bedtimes when I’m feeling a bit lazy.
Next up, I start on the three products I try and slap on every night, the first being Lierac Diopti Cerne eye cream, a really light gel/cream that is perfect for dotting under eyes to help bags and dark circles over night. Keeping my eyecream on my bedside table ensures that I slap it on, I can be a bit forgetful sometimes and, once I’m in bed, there’s no way I’m getting out again for a tube of cream. I hope they’re repackaging these as I haven’t seen them anywhere – does anyone know?
Afterwards I put a slick of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream on my lips, I don’t particularly love the smell of this but it’s fine for night as I’ll be comatose and unaware of anything. My boyfriend also uses this for his new tattoo so we’re a sheep-smelling dream at night-time, lemme tell you.
Finally, my This Works Perfect Hands is also a night time favourite as it’s rose-scented (not a fan of rose scents) and it sinks in instantly for perfectly smooth hands. Hand cream is essential for night time in my opinion!
Avene Eau Thermale is kept near my bed at all times, although I only ever really use it when I’m ill (which is often!) – it’s so refreshing and perks up your skin, too.
What do you keep on your bedside table?
