I’ve been a little excited to share this new styling product with you, a new release from Bumble and bumble within their Thickening range, – as a huge b&b fan, and someone with fine hair, I knew I would adore this.
The Bumble and bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish is a texturising spray that isn’t too far from a dry shampoo but without any odd white dust or too much of the matte, sticky feeling. Basically, it’s a fine, flat haired girls dream in a can!
I have to say that I’ve been lacking a texturising spray since I used up my much loved Oribe Dry Texturising Spray. After buying a few tins of it, I knew it was time to perhaps try something a little more affordable – and well, I’m a fickle being and I just like to try different brands!
I have to say that I do adore this Dryspun Finish, it’s definitely on par with the Oribe offering and it leaves my hair big and full of life. I tend to spray quite a lot in my hair as I have super soft hair that needs a lot of texture to get it how I want but there’s no odd side effects with this, it doesn’t make hair feel stiff or yuck and there’s no questionable white tinge – something I would always get with dry shampoos!
The bottle/tin? is quite large so I think for £21.50 it’s pretty reasonable, I gain so much from a texturising spray so it’s an essential part of my routine – I use this daily and it’s lasting really well, I’ve been known to go through a can of dry shampoo (for texturising purposes) in a week or so but I find I need less of this to get big, volumised hair! Well worth the money for someone with hair like mine, I really do need all the fullness I can get.
To use, I usually lift up sections around the crown and nape and spray a small amount and massage in and kind of fluff up my hair. It’s completely invisible so even girls with the darkest of hair could use this and it really gives the illusion of thicker, fuller hair.
A must have in my opinion!
